From a YouTube Idea to a Woodworking Passion

Eleven Eleven Woodworks started with a simple idea. In my spare time, I began watching YouTube videos about woodworking and handmade cutting boards. I eventually thought, “I wonder if I could do that?”

I bought a small piece of equipment and decided to give it a try. What started as an experiment quickly became a passion. With every board, I learned more, challenged myself with new designs and discovered how much I enjoyed working with wood.

My daughter Katie, through her own business, Totally Handmade, encouraged me to take my woodworking to local markets and helped me take the first step toward turning my passion into a business.

Today, that little experiment has grown into a full woodworking shop, where I work with beautiful hardwoods like walnut, cherry and maple to create unique, handcrafted cutting boards and other pieces.

My family has been my biggest support throughout the journey. Their encouragement has helped me develop the business, grow my confidence and continue to push myself creatively.

At Eleven Eleven Woodworks, every piece is made by hand with care, attention to detail and a genuine love for the craft. What began with a YouTube video and a small piece of equipment has grown into something I am incredibly proud of.
