How ordering works

Every board on the site is made by hand in our shop in Prince Edward Island. Unless a listing is marked ready to ship, your board is built after you order it, using the woods shown in the photo. Wood is a natural material, so the grain and colour of your board will be its own, close to the photo but never identical to it.

You’ll get an order confirmation by email as soon as your order goes through, and a second email with tracking the day it ships. If anything in your order needs a second look, we’ll reach out before we start cutting.

Engraving and personalized boards

We engrave and inlay exactly what you type at checkout, so please double-check spelling, names and dates before you place the order. Once the engraving or inlay work has started, a personalized board can’t be changed or cancelled.

Changing or cancelling an order

If you need to change or cancel, contact us within 24 hours of ordering and we’ll refund you in full. After that, your wood has usually been picked and cut, so we may not be able to cancel. We’ll always tell you where things stand.

All sales are final

Because every board is made to order, we don’t accept returns or exchanges, and we can’t offer refunds for a change of mind. Please look over the photos, sizes and options carefully before you order, and ask us anything you’re unsure about first. We’re happy to help you choose.

If it arrives damaged

Open the box when it arrives. If the board or the packaging is damaged, take photos of both within 48 hours of delivery, keep the packaging, and send them to us through the contact page. We’ll sort out a repair or a replacement and deal with the carrier claim ourselves, so you don’t have to.

Refunds

When a refund applies, it goes back to the card you paid with. Once we’ve issued it, it usually shows up on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Discount codes

A discount code has to be entered at checkout. We can’t apply one to an order that’s already been placed.
